I've been working on ways to make money in Oblivion. Of course the theifs guild earns quite a bit of money, expecially fencing all the stolen items.

But I also joined the Mage's Guild. They let you take anything from the guild hall without it being considered stealing. I took all the Alcamy supplies (all those galss bottle things) and sold them back to the Mage's Item person. You can find about twenty to thirty items, and can sell them back at about 25 each. Then just go to the next Mage's Guild and repeat.

Any other money makin' tips?

You can either cheat, or gather supplys for potions and make potions and then sell them to people.

The potions are a good idea. I have literaly hundreds of them, that I have stored in one of my houses. I should just sell all of them.

yea thats what i do also every time you go into an oblivian gate look at the bad guys weapon even if it looks the same as the others it might be enchanted and sold for a lot of money find a vendor with a lot of money where im at it costs 2100 just to enchant a dagger.

I didn't think to pick up their weapons the entire time. Now I can only fight once a week and I have to fight monsters.
