Overall Score

Enjoyment:
The Sims: Vacation is one of the better expansion packs that are offered.

Graphics:  You can create a pier for fishing, add campfires, or add tents.

Replay:  It's good for life.

The Sims: Vacation has a new area for exploration.  There are several locations in which the Sims can escape for some relaxation.  One of the areas is the beach; which comes filled to the brim with arcade games, volleyball, and metal detectors.  These areas are free for you to rearrange as you like.  You can create inlets that connect to the ocean or expand the sand farther down to the water.  You can create a pier for fishing, add campfires, or add tents for the guest's enjoyment.  Another area to check out is the snow.  During the snowy season you can expect to find sledding, snowball fights, and children creating snowmen.  In this location the Sims might be happier staying in a nice cozy cabin or a lodge to keep warm.  Lodges often come with the finest cuisine made by the best caterers that money can buy.  Don't forget to stop by the forest before returning home.  Sim's enjoy camping and the adults enjoy a little hanky panky when nobody is looking.  The woods come with their own games such as water balloon fights, barbeques, and it is the best place to catch some big fish.

The Sims: Vacation is one of the better expansion packs that are offered, though it is costly for the Sims to travel there.  Be sure to check out the cheats so you no longer have to worry about the money.  If you have the Unleashed expansion pack and your Sims have pets be sure to add litter boxes, dog beds, etc. to the vacation destinations because your pets will travel with you.  If you enjoy playing The Sims and you like buying the expansion packs then The Sims: Vacation will not disappoint you.
