WoW: WoTLK Summary (PC) By Richard S. Stites Editor-in-Chief Heroes of Gaming Published: 10/03/08 PrintEmail
World of Warcraft's second expansion, Wrath of the Linch King, ups the character level cap to level 80 and ads hundreds of hours of content. WotLK primarily takes place in the new land to the north called Northrend.
For those who haven't played World of Warcraft, it is a massively multiplayer online role playing game that is possibly more addictive than crack. You can choose from two factions, the Horde or the Alliance, and there will be seven character classes after WotLK is released.
The newest character class is the Death Knight. The Death Knights wear plate, and can take a lot of damage (tank) or can do massive damage (dps). A new battle system was designed around the Death Knights, but we'll go into that once we've reviewed the retail version of WotLK.
Needless to say if you have a loved one who playes World of Warcraft you won't see them much until they reach level 80.
